COURT CASE SUMMARY

Chavez, Dina B v. DeCastro, Jose Maria

According to court documents, on September 23, 2021, DANA B CHAVEZ filed a request for a Civil Harassment Restraining Order against JOSE MARIA DECASTRO. The request contained allegations that DeCastro had been 'squatting' in the building, that he threatened Chavez's life, that he accused Chavez of taking his keys, and Chavez stated that they were in fear of physical injury. Based on the statements in the complaint, a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) was issued that was to be in effect until a hearing scheduled for October 19th.

On October 19th, the hearing was rescheduled until November 10th and the TRO was extended as well. On November 10th, with Chavez not being able to serve notice of the hearing or the TRO on DeCastro, Chavez requested that the request for the Restraining Order be discharged. The TPO was dissovled at that time and the case dismissed.
